  • The following restrictions are to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition and you receive the best possible results. Please plan carefully for your ombre brow appointment:

    4 weeks before your appointment:

DO NOT get the following treatments:

    Laser treatments

    Botox or Fillers

    Chemical Peels

    7 days before your appointment:

DO NOT pluck, wax, tweeze, thread or receive any hair removal.

This is strongly prohibited and can interfere with the healing process.

DO NOT be exposed to excessive sunlight/sunburn. Your skin should not be in the healing process prior to a procedure.

DO NOT use any serum containing acid.

DO NOT use any antiaging products such as Retinol or Retin-A.

    48 hours before your appointment:

DO NOT take Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and or Omega-3 unless prescribed.

You may take Tylenol or Acetaminophen.

    24 hours before your appointment:

DO NOT consume alcohol, marijuana or any caffeinated beverages such as coffee prior to the procedure.

  • For the next 7 days, we kindly request that you follow these essential aftercare steps:

    • Avoid touching the healing area with your fingertips. Your hands may carry bacteria that could lead to infection.

    • Starting on Day 3, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor (avoid petroleum jelly or vaseline) to the treated area twice daily, using a clean cotton swab. Continue this until the area has fully healed. Avoid applying any products with your fingertips.

    • Refrain from exercise or strenuous activities for the first 5 days. Excessive sweating can disrupt the healing process.

    • Do not apply makeup or tint your lashes or brows. Avoid sun exposure, soaps, saunas, jacuzzis, swimming pools (especially those treated with chlorine), or contact with animals and gardening activities for 7 to 10 days after your procedure, including after touch-ups.

    • Before bathing, apply a light layer of Aquaphor to the procedure area. Take care to keep the area protected and clean until completely healed.

    Precautions During Healing

    • Avoid any trauma to the treated area, such as rubbing, scratching, or excessive cleansing.

    • Once fully healed, use a high SPF sunblock on the treated area to protect the pigment from fading due to UV exposure.

    • Steer clear of any products containing AHA’s (such as glycolic or lactic acid), as these can fade your pigment. Always review product labels carefully.

    • Avoid using washcloths during healing, as they may harbor bacteria that could cause infection.

    • We recommend sleeping on a satin pillowcase while your brows heal to minimize friction and aid in recovery.

    Potential Reactions & Concerns

Should you experience any of the following, please contact your technician immediately:

    • Itching, swelling, or blistering.

    • Any unusual reactions to your aftercare products, such as redness or irritation.

    • Any signs of infection, including excessive redness, swelling, tenderness, or red streaks from the procedure site moving towards the heart, or any discharge from the area.

Your health and comfort are of utmost importance. If you have severe symptoms, please consult your physician promptly.

    Important Considerations

    • All permanent makeup procedures are a two-step process. It is normal for some areas to lighten after healing, and a touch-up may be necessary to perfect your brows.

    • Failure to follow these instructions may result in pigment loss or discoloration.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your technician immediately. We are here to ensure that your brows heal beautifully and that you’re fully satisfied.
