FAQs

  • We understand that choosing the perfect service for your brows can be overwhelming. We invite you to send us a direct message with a clear photo of your brows, and we will gladly recommend the ideal service tailored specifically to your needs. Our goal is to ensure you receive a completely personalized and transformative experience.

  • At The Arch Queen, we specialize in brow customization and brow rehab. Unlike typical brow services, which offer a one-size-fits-all approach, our expertise lies in crafting brows that are uniquely designed to complement your individual bone structure, facial features, and preferences. This attention to detail and precision sets us apart. We are not just technicians; we are brow designers, with a commitment to delivering perfection every time.

  • If you have ever experienced an allergic reaction to hair dye, it’s possible you may be sensitive to henna or brow tint as well. We strongly recommend a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your reservation for henna, or tint services to ensure your safety and comfort. Please let us know if you would like to schedule a patch test in advance.

  • When performed by a skilled brow artist, lamination is a safe and transformative treatment. We take great care to use high-quality products and techniques that protect the health of your natural brows. Aftercare instructions will be provided to ensure your brows remain nourished and healthy post-treatment.

  • Henna brows involve the use of natural plant-based dye to tint both the brow hairs and the skin underneath, providing a temporary, bold look that lasts up to 2 weeks.
Ombre Powder Brows, on the other hand, are a semi-permanent technique that involves creating soft, gradient shading using a machine. This method can last anywhere from 1-3 years depending on your skin type and aftercare. Ombre powder brows give a more polished and defined look, whereas henna is ideal for a temporary enhancement.

  • Hydrated skin and brows are essential for maintaining the longevity of your treatments and ensuring the health of your natural brows. Dehydrated skin can cause products to fade faster and lead to brittleness in the brow hairs. We highly recommend using our luxurious Brow Fuel Oil, which nourishes your brows with premium ingredients designed to condition, strengthen, and promote growth. This oil is the perfect complement to your at-home brow care routine.

  • Yes! We offer a variety of educational courses for both aspiring and established brow artists who wish to perfect their craft. For all class inquiries, feel free to email us directly at thearchqueenacademy@gmail.com. We would love to help you grow your expertise and elevate your brow artistry.

  • Both waxing and threading are effective hair removal methods, but they use different techniques. Waxing involves applying warm wax to the brow area and removing unwanted hair in larger sections with a quick pull. Threading, on the other hand, uses a twisted thread to precisely pluck individual hairs.

Many clients mistakenly believe that waxing or threading causes hair loss. This is not true when you book with a professional brow artist. A skilled brow artist uses brow mapping to ensure that only the necessary hairs are removed, leaving the important hairs that shape and define your brows. Both methods, when done correctly, will not damage or thin your brows.

  • I use a specially formulated wax for sensitive skin to minimize irritation. However, if your skin is extremely sensitive, waxing can still sometimes cause breakouts or irritation. In those cases, I offer alternative options such as threading, tweezing, or even using a razor to achieve the desired brow shape without the risk of irritation. After each service, I apply soothing aloe to calm the skin, and hydrocortisone is available upon request to further reduce any potential inflammation. Your comfort and skin's health are always my top priorities.

  • To ensure the best results, please arrive with clean brows free of makeup, oils, or any skincare products. This helps me to better assess your natural brow shape and work on a clean canvas. Avoid tweezing or trimming your brows for at least two weeks before your appointment, so I have enough hair to work with when shaping and mapping. If you’re coming in for a tint or henna service, please avoid using exfoliating products or retinol around the brow area for at least 48 hours prior to your visit.

  • For optimal brow maintenance, I recommend returning every 3-4 weeks for brow shaping and temporary services like waxing, threading, tinting, or lamination. This time frame ensures your brows stay well-groomed and retain their shape. Regular visits also help maintain the results of brow rehab and prevent overgrowth, which could disrupt the structure we’ve built through brow mapping. Keeping up with your brow care routine ensures consistency and long-term results.
